National T20 cup originally named as the Cool &Cool presents Jazz National T20 cup 2016 due to sponsorship reasons is one of the top domestic event in Pakistan cricketing structure. Although there were some reservations as to the starting dates of the tournament as being the elite t20 event in country the non-participation of current national team squad has really effected its popularity. Still it was scheduled to carry on from 25th of August to 16th of September. The initial 14 matches of the National T20 Cup occasion will be held at the Pindi Satdium, while the rest of the 17 matches, including two semi-finals and final will held at Multan Cricket Stadium.
A total of 8 teams are participating in the event from different regions led by some of the best Pakistani players.
