Aussie Squad announced for Australia tour of Sri Lanka 2016

Cricket Australia has announced the 15-men test squad for Australia tour of Sri Lanka 2016. The tour is scheduled to be played from July 26 in the summer in Sri Lanka. Before this team Australia will be participating in tri-nation ODI series with West Indies and South Africa being the other two sides. Looking unto the test squad announced for the Australia tour of Sri Lanka 2016 there are some surprise inclusions. 29 year old all-rounder Moises Henriques looks all set to make a comeback into the side after a few of Aussie players got injured in the ongoing edition of IPL.

Moises Henriques is making a comeback into the side after an absence of almost three years. According to Rodney Marsh, Moises Henriques along with the likes of Josh Hazelwood and Jackson Bird would prove to be a useful bowling option.

“This squad has proven experience in subcontinental conditions,” Marsh said on Tuesday. “Henriques comes into the squad to give the flexibility of an additional all-rounder option, having already shown he plays and adapts well to spin-friendly conditions. He has been working hard on his fitness and we believe he is in prime condition to serve us well should he be selected to play. Jackson Bird and Nathan Coulter-Nile join the squad and will give us good control and pace.”
