Real Madrid’s first goal during their battle against Celta Vigo came a little over half an hour before the end of the match, and it was scored by Alvaro Morata. After a more or less uneventful first hour of the match, (except for a few bookings), this was the first big exciting moment of the match, and it came as a moment to rejoice for the Los Blancos fans.

Modric picked Asensio in the penalty area. he attempted to scoop the ball over the opponent’s goalkeeper, but his effort got blocked, and bounced nicely for Morata, who lashed home from about 10 yards.

Thus, the first goal came for Real Madrid about an hour after the start of the match against Celta Vigo. It was a beautiful goal by Morata, and Real thus managed to take the lead. A lot of speculations had been going on before the start of the season about Morata joining Real Madrid. But he has proven that his addition is valuable for Los Blancos. Minutes after his goal, Morata made another great attempt at another goal, and it was a very close one, but he missed it.
