Jordan Brand made waves with the prospect of obtaining a superstar customer. They flaunted the superb news pretty extravagantly. It was when news broke that Brazilian soccer star Neymar would be obtaining his own Air Jordan V Low, and now we all know when they will release. Nike Blog took to its site to proudly announce that this highly anticipated sneaker will formally drop on June 9, for $200.

Set to release later this Summer are even more colorways of the Air Jordan 5 Low. The popular brand has already released in quite a few color options during the very first quarter of 2016.

One of those colorways that will be releasing is the pair that has been created for the soccer star Neymar Jr. The Air Jordan 5 Low Neymar features a stunning grey cement upper with black speckling all throughout it’s body.

The entire upper of the shoe is also 3M. In addition to the brilliant 3M upper we also see Infrared detailing on the outsole, the stark inside of the tongue, and the “10” and “23” branding on each of the ankles that formally represent Neymar and Michael Jordan’s numbers respectively.

The rest of the shoe including the tongue, laces, inner liner, eyelets, midsole and also side panel mesh netting are all done in stark black. Capping things off is an icy blue translucent outsole that will blow your mind.

Anytime a PE colorway drops, it’s a massive deal for fans, but Jordan Brand blessing a soccer player with a retro is not something that happens frequently. If any player deserves it, it’s Neymar, who’s become a global sensation on the ground of the last few years. This drop only adds to the large amount of high-profile releases from Nike and Jordan Brand this summer.
