Cristiano Ronaldo and Rafa Benitez’s relationships are yet again in a hullabaloo after losing against Villarreal this past Sunday. According to Spanish media the Real Madrid striker got annoyed walked out of the room after Benitez called him to undergo a biometric analysis in order to improve his free-kick accuracy. As far as Cristiano Ronaldo’s free-kick record is concerned, the striker really needs to work on them. Cristiano Ronaldo recently scored from a direct free-kick in Champions League match against Malmo, a game that Real Madrid won by huge 8-0 margin. Though Cristiano Ronaldo equaled Juninho’s record of scoring 10 goals from direct free-kicks but the goal came for Ronnie after an extensive 13 month drought. Also he took 146 attempts to reach the 10 goals record as compared to Brazilian’s 97 attempts. While in all other records the Portuguese is takin less than half games to reach, this aspect really needs to be improved as well. The fact that he wasn’t that bad in free-kicks however rests, as we look down to some of the best free-kicks taken by Cristiano Ronaldo.
