Real Madrid We Still Believe – We Are Madridistas [Video]
After facing the transfer ban from FIFA Real Madrid is confronted with various tasks to sign in some players from around the world within just 15 days. The club though is also getting their appellate privileges equipped to challenge the ban however as the precedents suggest the chances of lifting the ban once imposed are much rare. Before Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, the current La Liga champions Barcelona were also handed with the same penalty and their appeal was rejected as well. However by appealing the sanction there are chances of some delay in the imposition of the ban, giving the club enough time to make some entries. The club knows that signing big stars will now be impossible but the possibility of strengthening two or three key positions with second-tier players is what Real Madrid are looking for. According to AS, Real Madrid wants to strengthen the position of left-back, midfield and forward for next year. So with the options like Pogba and Lewandowski seeming impossible at this time, the Santiago Bernabeu is focusing at more affordable names like Wolfsburg left-back Ricardo Rodriguez or Juventus striker Alvaro Morata.
There are also rumors that the club is almost ready to pay Morata’s Player release clause amounting to 35 million euros to incorporate him immediately. Furthermore Zinedine Zidane is also keen to have the replacement ready for the Brazilian Marcelo. Since the transfer ban will not limit Real Madrid in the on-going winter transfer window, there are options to avail the opportunity. On the other hand if the transfer ban carries on Real Madrid’s star players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, who previously were linked with a move this summer, will not be able to leave Real Madrid. Though both have been denying any interest of moving to another club still there were speculations regarding their futures which will eventually come to an end.
