Barcelona striker Neymar has been consistently linked with a move to Real in recent times. It could well have a little bit more to it. Is it mere speculation with a move to bring him to the Bernabeu? Or is it something we might have seriously made?
Wagner Ribeiro, his agent, has said Neymar has three offers on the table to him from ‘massive clubs’. Therefore it is possible (if not probable) one of these reported offers could be from Real.
Neymar’s father has fired Real Madrid a warning. He said there’s absolutely no chance of the striker heading to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Barcelona star’s future has come under the spotlight in recent months. With agent Wagner Ribeiro telling Radio Jovem Pan (via International Business Times) he has three big offers.
However, he was chatting with Fox Sports Brasil about whether or not his son could head to Real Madrid. Neymar Sr. said “the possibility of him ending up there is zero”—via James Whaling of Daily Mirror.
Goal.com (not that it worries us) has said he’s been offered a new deal. It would run until 2022. The Brazilian international’s agent said ‘any proposals, any notifications, or any formality’ regarding Neymar ‘without question passes through Barcelona and Barcelona alone.’
You can never say never with anything. Although Neymar coming to Real from Barcelona any time soon doesn’t seem likely. He doesn’t seem to be the player Zinedine Zidane will go for this summer!
The Brazilian was one of the standout performers in La Liga last season. He produced a formidable partnership with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi in the Barcelona attacking front.
