One of the biggest legends in sports history has just retired, but he is still getting amazing love from his famous fans. And, for some reason, that somehow turns out to be wrong to some people. Even more so, when Neymar honors Kobe on Twitter.

NBA and Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant has recently said goodbye to basketball after a stellar, and absolutely unforgettable 20-year career with the same team. Kobe was a true legend and a great personality in every sense of the word, but his talents shown on the court earned him five championship and of course, millions of admirers.

Many legends have paid respect in their own way to Kobe. The list goes too long to name everyone, but it includes Neymar, Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Tiger Woods, Richard Sherman and many, many more. It’s really fascinating to see their perspective as athletes on a fellow competitor.

His farewell game, on Wednesday played against the Utah Jazz, was one for the ages. The Black Mamba did in style what the Black Mamba does: he shot a lot, and he scored a lot. So he finally finished with an incredible 60 points and 50 shots, the most Kobe Bryant way possible to finish his career.

Bryant is such a legend he’s conquered countless fans outside of basketball. One of those is Barcelona superstar Neymar Jr. himself, who tweeted a really nice honor to Kobe.

The resonant problem with this tweet for a lot of internet Barcelona fans happens to be that, in their opinion, Neymar was supposed to be in his bedroom intensely crying and mourning the loss to Atlético Madrid, completely oblivious to the ongoing of the rest of the world. The fact that Neymar honors Kobe and tweets about him is not explicitly following the rules of what to do after severely losing a football match, and apparently he should be ashamed of himself for that.
