According to the British newspaper The Times, Ronaldo wants to be sold if the club receives a satisfactory offer. We don’t know if this will happen, but as he is one of the world’s greatest players – an offer will probably appear soon.
This news was much more shocking than the as very few people saw this coming. What will United do without him? Where will he go? How high will the fee be?

Cristiano Ronaldo’s time at Old Trafford may be over. Manchester United are not part of the Champions League predictions this year and this hurts the Portuguese international who returned to the Manchester club last summer, twelve years after he first left the club. Ronaldo was crucial to the team several times last year and scored 24 goals in 38 games – in what was a particularly bad season for the big club. According to The Athletics’ David Ornstein, Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, met with Chelsea’s new owner last week. Ronaldo is said to have been discussed there. Manchester United confirmed in May that Erik ten Hag would take over as the club’s new manager. In this connection, the Dutchman was asked if Ronaldo was part of his plans. “Of course,” Ten Hag replied.

Manchester United ended the 2021/22 season all the way down in sixth place in the Premier League and thus will not play in the Champions League next season.
