Cristiano Ronaldo Top 20 Goals in Real Madrid [Video]
“I hope I’ll score another 500 goals but it’s tough,” said Cristiano Ronaldo whose transfer rumors after the entry of Zinedine Zidane have been shushed down, on the Ballon d’Or night. The three times Ballon d’Or winner missed his fourth and a chance to equal his number of golden balls with Leo Messi on Monday. Lionel Messi won his fifth award in total after having a dream-year with the current champions Barcelona. While speaking of his records the Portuguese striker said;
“All the records are always an extra, the icing on the cake. It’s always good to be at the top of the records.
“When arrived at Real Madrid I never dreamed of breaking Di Stefano’s records, or Raul’s – all those legends you know.
“But I got there during my seventh season here. Obviously it was all with the help of my team-mates – nobody plays alone.”
Cristiano Ronaldo became the all-time top goal scorer for Real Madrid a few months back breaking Raul’s record of 323 goals. His one goal per game average since joining the White club in 2009 has been more than impressive making his path in the history books earlier than anybody in past. The striker broke the goal record of club legend Raul in less than half games played. He also scored his 500th goal this season only the 9th player in the world to have done so. The former Manchester United striker is in a prime form at Real Madrid and wants to carry on despite having been rumored to leave the club in summer. With Zinedine Zidane in charge of the managerial duties at Los Blancos Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to stay with the club for yet more years. As he revealed himself that he wants to score another 500 goals. Though his age might not let him add another 500, still he has got the stamina of scoring a plenty of goals, hopefully for Real Madrid.
