FIFA has already revealed the feedback about the captains of national teams for the Ballon d’Or, including Cristiano Ronaldo as representative of Portugal National team. As usual, FIFA has revealed the different ratings for the Golden Ball so it can be seen now that who voted for whom. Despite not getting the trophy, Cristiano Ronaldo is among among all the captains of teams, whose votes always seem to arouse much interest, and this year was not different. Cristiano Ronaldo decided to allocate his votes to the players of Real Madrid and thus gave the first five points to Karim Benzema, who is currently in top form with the club. Secondly, the Portuguese gave three points to James Rodriguez, while the remaining point gave it to Gareth Bale, showing that despite all the propaganda nothing is ahead of teammates for him.
Regarding the vote for Best Coach of the World in 2015, Cristiano Ronaldo also had it very clear in mind and gave five points to the former Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti, while Pep Guardiola got one point from the Portuguese. The Real Madrid striker gave three points to Jose Murinho as well. The golden ball was stolen, as expected, by the Argentinian forward Lionel Messi for a record fifth time ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and his Barcelona teammate Neymar Jr. Messi received 41.33% of votes ahead of Ronaldo (27.76%) & Neymar (7.86%). While the coach of the year award was also won by Barcelona’s Luis Enrique after winning a magical five trophy-haul in the year 2015. Cristiano Ronaldo did not look much surprised when the winner’s name was announced as he already had the clue of who is going to be crowned. However, the difference between his votes and the third placed Neymar has shut many critics’ mouths as they were questioning the striker’s nomination for the final three of Ballon d’Or.
