Batsmen with no ducks in cricket career record sounds a bit of impossible one. With only the exception of a cricket career being a short-lived one, no one really believes that a batsman can avoid getting out on zero throughout his career. The reality however is a whole different. There are many cricket players who lived throughout their careers without getting out on a duck. At one end there are some players with the embarrassing record of most career ducks while on the other hand there are few fortunate players with no ducks in cricket career at all. Now some might argue on their batting capabilities or the position the bat on but as a matter of fact when they come up on the crease with a bat in their hand, technically they are to be called the batsmen.

The player is none other than Afghanistan bowling all-rounder Samiullah Shenwari. The 28 year old player usually serves his side with the ball but when it comes to batting he never disappoints either. In 89 innings so far Samiullah has scored over 2000 runs without getting out on a duck in any of the games he batted. This is the longest streak for a player with maximum matches played with a duck. In fact South African former skipper and middle order batsman Faf du Plessis had the record of zero ducks in his career for quite a duration. The player was going very well until the unlucky digit got struck and his streak got ended.
